Legal Aid Workshop: Landlord-Tenant and Leases

Description:
Is there a provision in your lease you don't understand? Are you having trouble getting your landlord to make repairs? Is your landlord entering your apartment without permission? Thinking about signing a lease but not sure of the questions to ask? Join staff from the Graduate Student Legal Aid Office for an informal discussion of landlord-tenant relations. Legal Aid staff will be available after the main presentation to review leases and talk to students who need more information about legal rights and remedies. 12:30-1:30pm, Tuesday, July 12th Nanticoke Room, 1238 Stamp Student Union The Graduate Student Legal Aid Office provides free legal information and related assistance to individual graduate students on a wide range of both off-campus and university matters. We also maintain active educational and outreach programs for the graduate student community, and are available to provide speakers for student events and other campus activities. {Will appear in FYI on Jul 6, 2011
