You are Invited! See UMD's new 631 kW Solar Array with Gov. O'Malley, President Loh, and Mayor Fellows
Description:
More than 2,600 solar panels were installed this summer on the roof of the Severn Building at the University of Maryland. The panels will produce about 792 megawatt-hours of clean electricity each year, making this one of the largest solar facilities in the Washington DC area. Come learn about Maryland's clean energy future and get a rare rooftop tour of the solar array.
