"Africa in the World" a talk by Dr. Tukufu Zuberi

The American Studies Department at the University of Maryland, College Park will be hosting a talk by Dr. Tukufu Zuberi on Africa in the World, This multimedia presentation explores the power of documentary film making and other forms of media in telling the story of the impact the world has had on Africa, and in turn, the impact Africa has had on the world. This presentation goes hand in hand with his documentary and new media project, Africa and the World. He is looking to expand the conversation about the subject matter into the realms of social media through the following venues:
