"Restoring the Chesapeake... Is it Worth It?

Description:
Join us for this semester's first Marquee Lecture in Science and Technology featuring University of Maryland Professor Douglas Lipton, Program Leader for the Sea Grant Extension Program and an Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Dr. Lipton will explore how innovative economic research on the Chesapeake Bay is being used to develop a better understanding of ecosystem restoration. Through an interactive discussion (bring your clickers or borrow one at the lecture!), Dr. Lipton will engage you in considering& restoring the Chesapeake Bay, is it worth it? {Will appear in FYI on Sep 26, 2011
