Bleeding the Narrative: Comics in Art and Culture
Description:
Join comic book artists Carolyn Befelski, Alexis Fajardo, Monica Gallagher, Jim Rugg, and Rob Ullman for a free and free-ranging roundtable discussion on comics and art in popular culture. The roundtable will cover artistic inspiration, style, and the relationship between so-called low and high art forms in the 21st century. Attendance is FREE and there will be a meet-and-greet afterward. Bleeding the Narrative is sponsored by the Graduate Art History Association and is also supported by the Small Press Expo, which has provided a small gift for all attendees.
