Deseo e invisibilidad: la mirada como marca

Puerto Rican artist and writer Eduardo Lalo will have a conversation on his currents projects, as well as on the singularity of the Puerto Rican contemporary literary scene. Eduardo Lalo is a writer and artist from Puerto Rico. He is author of La isla silente, Los pies de San Juan, La inutilidad, donde, Los países invisibles (Premio de Ensayo Ciutat de Valencia, 2007), and El deseo del lápiz. He has directed two medium length films, donde and La ciudad perdida, that have been included in exhibitions of Latin American film at various festivals, museums, and cultural centers in Europe, Latin America and the United States. In 2011, his novel Simone will be published in Argentina. {Will appear in FYI on Sep 20, 2011
