Tuesday Policy Forum | "Governing through Tort Litigation: Global Warming, Tobacco, and Lead"

The School of Public Policy's Tuesday Policy Forum will feature Donald G. Gifford, the Edward M. Robertson Research Professor of Law at the University of Maryland School of Law whose principal research and teaching specialty is mass torts. He is the author of "Suing the Tobacco and Lead Pigment Industries: Government Litigation as Public Health Prescription," which analyzes the limits of the judicial role in solving product-caused public health problems. {Will appear in FYI on Oct 7, 2011
