National Weather Service Winter Storm Class
Description:
Are you interested in learning more about blizzards, nor'easters, and other severe winter weather? Well, now's your chance! The National Weather Service is coming to campus on Saturday, Nov. 12 to teach Winter Storms , which is part of their Skywarn Storm Spotter training series. Although Basics I is required to receive credit, anyone with a strong interest and basic knowledge of meteorology is invited to attend. The class is FREE but please register online at http://www.atmos.umd.edu/~gcm/wiki/skywarn/ to ensure a space.
