Distinguished Scholar Teacher Lecture by Dr. Avis Cohen

Description:
The final presentation in this year's Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lecture Series will be given by Dr. Avis Cohen from the Department of Biology, the Program in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and the Institute for Systems Research. She will present, An Interdisciplinary Journey from Lamprey Spinal Cords to Robots. The Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lectures are given by faculty members who are being honored for their outstanding accomplishments in both scholarship and teaching. Besides Dr. Cohen, this year's honorees include Dr. Ritu Agarwal, Dr. Colin Phillips and Dr. Lawrence Washington.
