Description:
Dr. Rachel Ivie from the American Institute of Physics will present statistics on the latest trends in physics and astronomy degrees and employment. She will highlight trends for women and under-represented minorities. She will also describe the goals of and some initial findings from the longitudinal study of astronomy graduate students. (Hosted by the Department of Astronomy.)
