This illustrated talk will discuss some of the new approaches and discoveries of the past five years, and their significance for both Jewish and Middle Eastern history. Dr. Marina Rustow holds the Charlotte Bloomberg Professorship in the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University, where she is an associate professor in the Department of History. {Will appear in FYI on Nov 28, 2011
