Environmental concerns impacts people's lives, the economy and thus development. There has been an increased focus on how climate change will effect the developing world. Join the Development Circle on Wednesday, November 9th for Professor Sherman Robinson's presentation on how climate change will effect the economies of developing countries.
Mr. Robinson is a Senior Research Fellow at the IFPRI and Professor of Economics (emeritus) at the University of Sussex. His research interests include the use of computable general equilibrium (CGE) models in policy analysis, international trade, economic growth, agricultural and resource issues, climate change adaptation, macroeconomic policy, income distribution, and maximum-entropy econometrics applied to estimation problems in developing countries.
