FAC/STAFF Webinar - What Employers Want: Ensuring International Experience Gets the Attention it Deserves
Description:
We assume that international experiences will give students an edge in their job search, but is it really true? In this rough economy, students international travel requires a significant investment, but how do we make that investment pay off for students and future employers?
The University of Minnesota sought to find out. Through a revealing survey they unveiled that a résumé enhanced by study abroad references did not automatically trigger positive responses from prospective employers. This webinar will highlight some ways the University of Minnesota is using the results from the survey to produce results for their students.
Campus partners welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
