Town Hall Meeting with Steny Hoyer

Extended Description: On Monday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Center for American Politics and Citizenship will be giving the Millard E. Tydings Award for Courage and Leadership in American Politics to the Honorable Steny Hoyer. Congressman Hoyer is the Democratic Whip in the House of Representatives and represents Maryland's fifth congressional district, which includes the University of Maryland. After the award ceremony, Congressman Hoyer will host a town hall meeting on the U.S. economy and federal budget. The event will take place in the Atrium at Stamp, and admission is free and open to the public. RSVP to CAPC@umd.edu.
