"HELLO MY NAME IS" is a series of solo performance pieces intended to engage an audience and draw them into the rush of live, on-the-edge, work-in-progress theatre! The actor/writer/producers are students of the brand new MFA in Performance Graduate program in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. Developed over the course of the semester, in and out of class, the work reveals the energy of the creative process from initial idea, to writing and staging. These are fully performed works-in-progress, utilizing essential elements of light, sound, props, and costumes. Performances are being held in CSPAC in the Cafritz Theatre on Saturday, December 3rd at 2pm and 7pm; and on Sunday, December 4th, at 2pm and 7pm. This is a free event but space is limited.
