Find out about applying for research grants at the next CMNS Postdoc Association Event! Grants for US Residents and Non-Residents Tuesday, December 6th 2:30pm to 4pm 1103 Biosciences Research Building (near the Stamp Student Union) Applying for grants is an important part of starting a research program. In our next postdoc event, two speakers will explain the options and logistics involved in this process: Beth Brittan-Powell, from Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NACS), will give an overview of programs including NSF and NIH and explain grant opportunities for both US residents and non-residents. Monique Anderson, Assistant Director of UMD's Office of Research Administration (ORA), will explain the steps in the proposal process and UMD's research policies. As always, refreshments will be served and this will be a great opportunity to connect with other postdocs in the sciences. See you there! {Will appear in FYI on Dec 1, 2011
