OIT Brown Bag at Noon: Using Twitter to Improve Student Engagement

Description:
Using Twitter to Improve Student Engagement Twitter, the popular social media tool, is being integrated into the classroom. Join this interactive session with Ronald Yaros (faculty, College of Journalism) to learn how he integrates Twitter with assignments and the course blogs in his I-Series and blended courses. He will review the basics for faculty who are new to Twitter and share strategies for using Twitter for student engagement and collaboration. (Laptops are welcomed in this session). All faculty and staff are welcome to join the discussion.
