DISSERTATION SUPPORT GROUP - Free to all UMCP Graduate Students
Description:
The Counseling Centers Learning Assistance Service will again sponsor the Dissertation Support Group for doctoral students who are experiencing challenges in completing their dissertation. Topics covered in the group include goal setting, time management, writing strategies, working with ones advisor and committee, and balancing the dissertation with other responsibilities. The spring group will start on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. in Shoemaker 2122. Groups will meet every two weeks up until May 11, 2012. Space is limited to the first 20 students. Participants must be actively working on either a master's thesis or a doctoral proposal or dissertation.
