MICA is proud to present the third production of Black Monologues, which highlights the diversity that exists within the Black campus community, in particular at the UMD. This event is designed to also give students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to share their stories through a creative and empowering form, while educating the broader campus community on institutional issues and experiences of underrepresented groups, while illuminating the complexity of identity. Facilitated discussion and reflection will occur directly following the performances so that attendees have an opportunity to respond and share their stories as well.
