Addressing Social, Business, and Economic Issues via Research in Judgment and Decision Making
Description:
Decisions have serious consequences, including for health, relationships, financial well-being, national security, business, economics, politics and the environment. What does state-of-the-art research have to say about human judgment and decision-making? And what are implications of these recent findings for individuals and for policy makers?
Please join the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the Robert H. Smith School of Business to address these issues. The morning will be devoted to presentations by four prominent researchers who study decision making from behavioral, social, cognitive science, and business perspectives. There will be a panel discussion immediately after lunch. The symposium will close with individual seminars led by the speakers.
Please register.
