Sustainable Tuesdays--Sustainability and the College Park Campus TODAY, February 14, 3:30pm

Please join us for this week's Sustainable Tuesdays lecture: Sustainability and the College Park Campus.
Speakers are: Robert Specter, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, UMD's chief fiscal and administrative officer, and Scott Lupin, Associate Director, Department of Environmental Safety and Director of the Office of Sustainability.
The University has been recognized by a number of national rating systems as an exceptionally green university. The speakers will discuss how UMD has achieved these distinctions, how it plans to improve its performance, measure its achievements in sustainability, and meet its commitment under the Presidents' Pledge to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
This Lecture is one in a series which being offered during the Spring Semester as part of ARCH 289i, Smart Growth Goes to School: Sustainability at College Park. The series is co-sponsored by the Campus Office of Sustainability.
