Stern Professorship Hosts Ivo Daalder, U.S. Ambassador to NATO

Description:
The School of Public Policy Stern Professorship of Civic Engagement will host Ivo H. Daalder, U.S. Ambassador to NATO, who will speak on the topic: What the Libya Operation Teaches Us about NATOThrough the Eyes of the U.S. Ambassador. Daalder was a Director for European Affairs on President Clinton's National Security Council staff from 1995 to 1997, where he was responsible for coordinating U.S. policy toward Bosnia. He is a College Park Professor (on leave) and former faculty member at the School of Public Policy. He is the author of twelve books, including most recently In the Shadow of the Oval Office: Profiles of the National Security Advisers and the Presidents they ServedFrom JFK to George W.
