MAPP Lecture | Eisenbach and Mansur: "Out of Place: Collaboration in Practice" | Monday, March 5, 6:15pm

Please join us for a talk with UMDs architect and Associate Professor RONIT EISENBACH and Dance Artist and Assistant Professor, SHARON MANSUR on MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2012 at 6:15 pm in the Kibel Gallery. Out of Place: Collaboration in Practice is the second lecture of three on movement and space, that are taking place this semester.
In this talk, architect Eisenbach and dance artist Mansur will trace their collaboration and the development of a series of performance/installations inspired by the unique art, architecture and spaces of the planned community of Reston, Virginia. Reston Community Center and the Initiative for Public Art in Reston commissioned the work.
A screening of the film merce by merce by Nam Jun Paik will follow the talk.
