Terrapin Tango Festival
Description:
On April 20-22, the weekend of the Multicultural Expo, the Argentine Tango Club will host the 3rd Annual Terrapin Tango Festival. Students involved in the festival will not only learn about Argentine tango and culture, but also come in contact with the Argentine tango community at large.
The festival offers a free beginner lesson, 6-7:30 on Friday (04/20) at the Stamp Atrium. This will be followed by Friday's milonga (traditional tango social dance), from 9PM - 1:30 AM (Atrium). Saturday and Sunday's milongas, as well as a Sunday beginner class, will also be offered to UMD students free of charge.
