Development Circle: Egypt Revisited - Changes and Challenges One Year After Mubarak
Description:
What has changed in Egypt since the 2011 revolution, and why? What does that mean for the country's future and the future of the Middle East region, as a whole? What role did the Egyptian media play before, during and after the revolution?
At the next Development Circle, Dr. Sahar Khamis - Assistant Professor in the UMD Department of Communication and former Head of the Mass Communication and Information Science Department in Qatar University - will explore these and other questions on the changes and challenges in Egypt one year after Mubarak.
