The Invisible War

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, join us for a free screening of The Invisible War. Winner of the 2012 Sundance U.S. Documentary Audience Award, this new documentary by filmmaker Kirby Dick explores the chilling fact that today in the U.S. military a female soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed or injured by enemy fire. This film screening is the second half of the UMD Take Back the Night event, which starts at 6pm in the Hoff Theater. Everyone is welcome. This event is co-sponsored by the University Health Center Sexual Assault Response and Prevention Program, the sisters of AXO and the UMD Student Government Association. http:// {Will appear in FYI on Mar 15, 2012
