Race Through My LGBT Eyes

Each year, Alpha Theta Gamma Multicultural Sorority, Inc. hosts a dialogue event (titled "Race Through My ___ Eyes") about race and how it affects different aspects of our lives or identities we hold. This year, we will be hosting a dialogue/ workshop with Professor Jay Garvey discussing being LGBT and how race affects one's ability to identify as LGBT. We will discuss some of the history of the LGBT movement in the context of race, have some movement/ interactive activities, and end with a discussion panel of minority LGBT students (the Speaker's Bureau was requested, we are waiting for confirmation). April 9th, 2012, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in the Prince George's Room of Stamp. Ticket Price: Free {Will appear in FYI on Mar 19, 2012
