Professor and Associate Director of Theatre Heather S. Nathans will discuss her book, 'Slavery and Sentiment on the American Stage, 1787-1861: Lifting the Veil of Black' (Cambridge UP, 2009). The talk is part of the UMD Libraries' "Speaking of Books... Conversations with Campus Authors" series.
