Development Circle Forum with Varun Gauri | Human Rights and Development
Description:
At today's Development Circle forum in the School of Public Policy, Dr. Varun Gauri will assess the benefits, risks, and limitations of human rights-based approaches to development.
Dr. Gauri is a Senior Economist in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. He is currently leading research projects on the role of judiciaries and legal institutions in promoting state accountability, and on the impact of legal strategies to claim economic and social rights.
