Boom and Bust: American Wind Power in the Carter and Reagan Years
Description:
The next session of the 2011-12 Maryland Colloquium in the History of
Technology, Science, and Environment (MCHOTSE) takes place on Thursday,
April 5. The Colloquium meets in 2110 Taliaferro Hall at the
University of Maryland, College Park. Refreshments 4:00-4:30 pm;
presentation and discussion of pre-circulated paper, 4:30-6:00 pm.
Mr. Philip Warburg, Author and Environmental Lawyer, will talk about
Boom and Bust: American Wind Power in the Carter and Reagan Years. A
commentary by Dr. David Kirsch, University of Maryland, will follow.
Discussion will be based on a pre-circulated paper, which is available
