Biologics for Cancer Therapy, Virus Protection, and more
Description:
Postdocs and Graduate Students,
ActoKine Therapeutics is focused on the discovery of new biologics AK-1 for cancer, AK-2 for viral prevention and AK-3 for CNS diseases. AK-1 protects normal cells, while sensitizing tumors to cancer therapy and AK-2 for protection against infection by a broad spectrum of viruses. This presentation will discuss strategies invoked to examine their cellular protective mechanisms and their master control inducible genes and describe ActoKines proprietary technologies (CytoKey and CytoKill) for discovery of small molecule mimetics to replace the biologics.
