The Rapture of Europe - A Play by Max Aub
Description:
We would like to invite you to see the play "The Rapture of Europe" written by the Spanish author Max Aub. The play was adapted and directed by Dr. Naharro-Calderón of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. It will be performed by the Jimediantes Theater Company on May 3 and May 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Ulrich Recital Hall.
The play deals with the Spanish Civil War, refugees, NGOs, France, and World War II resistance.
Admission is free and open to the public. The play is in Spanish, English, Italian, French, and German, and will have supertitles in English. There will be a reception after the performance on opening night.
