APIA Spoken Word & Poetry-- Featuring Ed Bok Lee and Bao Phi
Description:
Spoken word artists have been called historians for the masses, spoken word the voice of our communities. Over the last two decades, APIA spoken word in particular has grown into a thriving tradition, with a national summit every other year and a fixed presence in nearly every major city in the U.S. Come celebrate two of todays most important voices, Bao Phi and Ed Bok Lee, who will perform, answer questions, and discuss the dynamic connections between arts and activism. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30pm.
