Free Workshop on Identity Theft
Description:
Free Graduate "Lunch with the Lawyer" Workshop: Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm (light lunch at 12:15) in the Nanticoke Room 1238 Stamp. GRAD STUDENTS/GRAD STAFF ONLY.
Identity theft is a growing problem that has hit some of our graduate students hard! Join Graduate Legal Aid staff and Hugh Williams, Administrator of the Identity Theft Program at the Office of the Maryland Attorney General for a lively discussion on how to protect yourself from identity theft. Come to our workshop and learn what you can do to reduce your chances of becoming a victim, how to recognize the signs of possible identity theft, and what you can do once youve been hit.
Remember: the best way to protect your self is to be proactive. For more information, please see our website at: www.thestamp.umd.edu/gradlegalaid
