The Art of Argento: THE PULITZER PRIZE AND BEYOND
Description:
This program spans the decades as it looks not only back at the prize-winning song cycle, but also embraces his most recent vocal creations, closing with the premiere performance of his Cabaret Songs, the composer's musical gift to the celebration.
Faculty artists perform a concert of Argento songs and works, including which won the Pulitzer Prize. Also on the program Valentino Dances and the world premiere performance of Cabaret Songs, the composer's gift to this celebration.
