Maryland Day MFA Showcase at The Art Gallery
Description:
The Art Gallery, in conjunction with the Department of English Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, presents a special event to celebrate the University of Marylands 2012 Maryland Day.
The Maryland Day MFA Showcase has become an annual collaboration between the two UMD departments since 2009. This years showcase features live poetry and fiction readings from MFA candidates Adam Binkley, Rachel Carstens, Will Fargason, Katie Herman, Dan Knowlton, Emily Lyons, Anna Rowser, Rad Skudrna, Mike Stringer, Allison Wyss, and Matilda Young.
The reading will be held from at 1:00 pm through 2:30 pm at The Art Gallery on Maryland Day, Saturday April 28, 2012. Please call 301-405-2765 for more information.
