The Stamp Gallery presents: Salt Market and Traveling Emporium: Olivia Robinson Solo Exhibition, September 6 - October 20, 2012.
Opening Reception to be held on September 6th, from 5 - 8pm.
The Salt Market, created by artist, Olivia Robinson, is a playful multimedia installation of items produced by or about S. W. Eat - a fictitious traveling salesperson from the late 19th century. Her items for sale included salts and electricity made from her own sweat. The Salt Market examines the by-product of labor and aims to make visible the relationship amongst labor, value and power.
