Workshop: Infusing a Multicultural Perspective in Every Class
Description:
This workshop, jointly sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Center for Teaching Excellence, will look at how one can make inclusion and diversity a cornerstone of every course. The workshop will focus on what is inclusion and diversity, why it is should be part of every course, and pedagogical approaches that faculty can use. This is a hands-on minds-on workshop in which faculty will share ideas, approaches and strategies for addressing inclusion and diversity issues in a variety of class types.
