Abstract: Medical implantable device manufacturers seeking to provide assurance of the safety and reliability of their products have a unique set of challenges. To help meet these challenges, Cochlear Ltd. established safety and reliability practices in their design and manufacture of cochlear implant design, which will be presented.
Bio: Mr. Gary Ignacio is a Senior Manager and the Principal Reliability and Product Risk Management Engineer with the Implants Design & Development Group at Cochlear Ltd.
