Call for Nominations for 2013-2014 Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Award
Description:
The Distinguished Scholar-Teacher program honors faculty who have demonstrated major scholarly achievements along with outstanding accomplishments as educators. DSTs receive a $5,000 award and present a lecture on a topic within their scholarly interest. The nominee should have been a member of our faculty for a minimum of five years and hold the rank of tenured Professor/Principal Agent.
Nominations may be made by any full-time permanent faculty member and should be submitted via on-line registration by October 4th. All nomination materials should be submitted by November 5th. For additional information and on-line registration, go to http://faculty.umd.edu/awards/instr_dst.html.
