Arboretum Walk: Explore the Campus Herbarium
Description:
The Norton-Brown Herbarium on our campus was established in 1901, and is one of the oldest in the country. An herbarium is both a collection of preserved plant specimens, and the scientific institute that stores and researches the specimens. The specimens in an herbarium are used for reference and research. Come take a guided tour with herbarium curator Dr. Tanja Schuster to see this amazing and historic collection, and learn about the methods used to document and preserve our plant heritage.
