Vida y espacio en La Habana contemporánea Cuban Documentary Presentation
Description:
The Latin American Studies Center along with the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and Education Abroad will welcome two Cuban documentary filmmakers from the Instituto Superior de Arte, María Elisa Pérez and Duniesky Cantón Fernández, to share their compelling work on housing conditions in Havana.
The five-minute documentary will be followed by a Q & A conversation moderated by Dr. David Sartorius, Assistant Professor of History.
The AU/UMD Cuba Study Abroad Program will also have an information table at the event.
Talk will be in Spanish.
