People of Color Zine Project at UMD!
Description:
This Saturday, October 6th from 1-3pm, please join members of the People of Color Zine project for a panel discussion in the WMST Multimedia Studio (Taliaferro 0135) on the mission and work of the POC Zine Project to make zines by people of color easy to find, distribute, and share using digital archives. Panelists will also discuss the historical intersections between communities of color and punk subculture.
Sponsored by the Women's Studies Department, the WMST Multimedia Studio, LGBT Studies, the Information & Policy Access Center, the English Deparment, the American Studies Department, and Digital Cultures and Creativity
