A Live Interview with James Randi!

Description:
In conjunction with College Park Scholars: Science, Discovery and the Universe, the Society for Inquiry presents "An Evening with James Randi." Magician James Randi has an international reputation as a world-class entertainer and escape artist with a dry, biting sense of humor. Today he is best known as one of the world's best investigators and demystifiers of paranormal and pseudoscientific claims. Over 40 years ago, Randi offered $1,000 of his own money in a challenge to anyone who could offer proof of the paranormal. In 1996, The James Randi Education Foundation was established to further Randi's work, and to boost Randi's long-standing challenge, unclaimed to this day, up to a $1,000,000 prize. In conversation format, Randi will talk about Randi's long history as a real "ghostbuster" with Todd Robbins, an actor, sideshow performer and expert on all forms of deception and con games. There will be a Q&A session and booksigning afterwards. {Will appear in FYI on Oct 15, 2012
