Food Day Festival at The Farmers Market at Maryland
Description:
Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food.
Come celebrate Food Day at The Farmers Market at Maryland with live music (12-1pm), a cooking demonstration, and more! Several student groups, campus departments and campus gardens will be present with information about what their organization is doing to promote healthy, "green" living. Many groups will have games, prizes and giveaways.
Dining Services will be selling boxed lunches made with local and seasonal ingredients - the first 25 to purchase a boxed lunch will receive a FREE Farmers Market at Maryland re-usable shopping tote!
