Introducing E-Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs): A workshop for Science Students and Faculty
Description:
This workshop will introduce you to Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs), a new technology designed to replace paper-based lab notebooks. ELNs will help you organize and securely preserve all of your laboratory data, will help reduce time-consuming manual procedures, and will provide immediate access to your notes and data at any time, from any location. ELNs will allow you to share information within your laboratory, keep abreast of developments in your lab, publish selected data to specific individuals, groups, or the public, and protect your intellectual property. Come learn about ELNs in sessions designed for UMD science students and faculty. Space is limited; registration is required.
