CTE Workshop: Effective Teaching: Less is More
Description:
The Center for Teaching Excellence invites you to attend its upcoming workshop titled "Effective Teaching: Less is More" on Nov. 7(Wed) from noon
to 1:30 p.m. in Maryland Room, Marie Mount Hall.
Teaching and learning are the central components of education. In this session we will probe the interactions between these two processes, the
players, expectations, and the outcomes. We will define what "effective" teaching means, how one can better achieve it, the changing roles of the
instructor and students, and whether one can achieve "more with less."
