An Evening with Lynn Povich

Description:
Lynn Povich made history as one of the 46 women who sued Newsweek magazine in 1970 -- the first sex discrimination suit against a media giant. The story went largely untold until now. Join Povich as she discusses "The Good Girls Revolt" -- her account of the signal events that changed American journalism and the workplace as a whole. She'll also discuss what has changed for young women today, and what has not. Books will be available for sale at the event in the Knight Hall lobby where Lynn Povich will sign copies. {Will appear in FYI on Nov 9, 2012
