At War with Israel: Soviet and East German Anti-Zionism in the 1970s and 1980s
Description:
This talk will examine the issue of Jewish sovereignty, the existence of Israel, as it played out in international debates. It will focus on the various aspects of East German and Soviet Anti - Zionism, and the support each provided to Palestinian paramilitary and other terrorist organizations that fought against the Jewish State.
