Fair Trade UMD
Description:
Fair Trade UMD will be hosting a Fair Trade Marketplace on Thursday, November 15th, 2012 from 9:30AM to 2:30PM in the Atrium, STAMP.
Fair Trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach that empowers developing countries to produce sustainable products.
Fair Trade UMD is excited to host the FAIR TRADE MARKETPLACE as a part of International Education Week. The Marketplace will feature Fair Trade crafts, jewelry, apparel, coffee and tea from a number of different vendors.
Free samples of fair trade chocolate and Ben & Jerrys ice cream.
This event is co-sponsored by the SGA.
